Honey Pickles
Sweet and Spicy homemade Pickles. Great accompaniment for chicken, BBQ, potato salad, etc. Great solo too.

Ingredients

cup
white vinegar
½
cup
rice wine vinegar
1
tablespoon
crushed red pepper flakes
1
tablespoon
dried mustard

Persian cucumbers

dill
3
tablespoons
honey

Instructions
Thinly slice cucumbers crosswise about ¼ inches thick. A mandolin works best for this.
In a small saucepan, add vinegar, honey, crushed red pepper flakes, mustard, dill and ½ cup of water. Bring to a boil and remove from the heat.
Add cucumbers to a wide mouth quart size mason jar.
Pour warm liquid over cucumbers
Refrigerate for at least 12 hours and up to 7 days.
