How this recipe came about
I love making international dishes! All of the different ingredients and flavors inspire me to cook more. Here is another one of my favorite international dishes: instant pot tikka masala.

Fried green beans with spicy sausage, thai basil, and rice. This meal is healthy and a one pot plan! My favorite kind of dinner!

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable or olive oil
- 4 green onions sliced into quarter inch pieces, separate white and green pieces
- 1 jalapeño small diced
- 2 spicy chicken sausages about ¾ lb ground
- 1 lb green beans trimmed and cut in half
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 tablespoon sweet chile sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- ¼ cup chopped thai basil leaves;lime wedges for garnish
- 1 cup cooked rice

Instructions
- Heat a large skillet or wok with oil over medium high heat. Add the white green onions and diced jalapeño. Meanwhile, remove the casing from each spicy chicken sausage and dump the sausage into the pan. Using a spatula, break up the ground chicken sausage and stir fry until the the meat is cooked through (approximately 5 minutes). Add the green beans and cook for another 2 minutes. Add the cooked rice and fry for about 1 minute.
- Meanwhile, whisk together the lime juice, sweet chile sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar. Pour the sauce over the mixture and toss to combine. Cook for another 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in basil and serve with a lime wedge.
