Pear Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing & Candied Pecans

Ingredients
- 1 pear thinly sliced
- ¼ cup Gorgonzola crumbles
- 1 bag Italian Salad blend or freshly chopped romaine
Poppy Seed Dressing
- ¼ cup light olive oil
- ⅛ cup red wine vinegar
- ⅛ cup sugar
- ½ teaspoon poppy seeds
- ½ teaspoon dried mustard
- ½ teaspoon salt
Candied Pecans
- ⅛ cup brown sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 TB water
- ½ cup pecans

Instructions
- Wash produce and cut according to instructions
Cook Candied Pecans:
- Excluding the Pecans, combine ingredients in small pan over medium head until the sugar dissolves and is bubbling
- Add Pecans and cook an additional 2-3 minutes
- Remove from heat and let cool
Make dressing:
- Combine all ingredients into bottle or dressing jar and shake vigorously
- Add dressing to all ingredients according to your preference.
