How this recipe came about
I love helping out with family holiday meals and this year I made these cinnamon orange glazed carrots! You won’t be disappointed with the cinnamon and orange combined with soft, warm carrots.

Cinnamon Orange Glazed Carrots

Ingredients
- 2 lbs carrots cut into ½ inch pieces on the diagonal
- ⅛ cup chopped carrot top greens optional
- ⅛ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup butter or ghee
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 orange juiced and zested
- ⅛ teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Melt butter, salt, cinnamon, olive oil, nutmeg, brown sugar, and orange juice in a microwave safe container or in a small sauce pan over medium heat.
- Drizzle glaze over cut carrots in a baking safe container. Place in the oven for 50 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve carrots sprinkled with orange zest and chopped carrot top greens.
Notes
Note: Carrots can also be cut quartered, lengthwise for a dramatic presentation.
